IT Support and User Management

Remote IT Support

1Byte Technology provides remote IT support to businesses across Türkiye. Computer, email, Microsoft 365, printer and application issues are resolved over a remote connection opened with the user's knowledge and consent; cases that need on-site work are planned separately.

What is remote IT support?

Remote IT support means an IT specialist connects to the user's computer over the internet, with consent, and fixes the problem without being on site. Most software, account, email and settings issues can be handled this way within minutes; physical work such as hardware and cabling is done on site.

Scope

What can be solved remotely?

Most issues that stop daily work come from software and settings. They do not require a visit to the user's location.

Limits

When is on-site work needed?

If the device does not start, the internet connection is down, or the problem comes from a cable, network device or hardware part, a remote connection cannot be opened or is not enough. In that case on-site work is planned during the first assessment and the steps are agreed in advance.

Working Model

The remote support process step by step

01

Request log

The request comes in by phone, email, WhatsApp or form; the issue, the affected user and the urgency are recorded.

02

Initial diagnosis

We decide whether the issue can be solved remotely and plan on-site work if needed.

03

User consent

The connection is opened only with the user's knowledge and consent; there is no access without permission.

04

Remote session

The user can follow every action on their own screen; the session is closed when the work is done.

05

Solution and record

The work done, open needs and next steps are reviewed together with the user.

Security

Security and data protection during remote sessions

The most important rule in remote support is that no connection is opened without the user's knowledge. The session is limited to the time and scope needed to fix the issue.

Personal data and business files on the computer are only looked at as far as the issue requires. The principle of least privilege is applied to user accounts and permissions.

Scope and Pricing

How are scope and price set?

The price depends on the number of users and devices, the expected support hours, the systems to manage such as Microsoft 365 or servers, and the need for on-site work. These are clarified in the first call and a written proposal with the scope is prepared.

  • Number of users and computers
  • Email and office system in use
  • Servers, backups and network devices
  • Number of locations and branches
  • Expected on-site work

Common Questions

The connection is opened only with the user's consent and closed when the work is done. The user can see every action on their own screen, and access is limited to what the issue requires.

Do you serve all of Türkiye?

Yes, remote support is available to businesses anywhere in Türkiye. On-site work is planned separately according to the location.

The computer needs to be on and connected to the internet, and the affected user should be reachable during the session. The connection steps are shared when you make the request.

How is it priced?

The price depends on the number of users and devices, support hours, the systems to manage and the need for on-site work. A written proposal with the scope is prepared after the first call.
